From agricultural and resource economics to animal, plant, and soil sciences, this program gives you both the business skills and the scientific understanding needed to succeed in this global industry.
Our BSc in Agricultural/Food Business Management degree allows you to study food science and business simultaneously, setting you up for a variety of careers in the agri-food sector. This program is offered jointly by the Faculty of Agricultural, Life & Environmental Sciences and the Alberta School of Business. You can participate in the Alberta School of Business Co-op Program as part of this degree.

|Additional Admission Requirements:||
This program does not allow admission directly from high school. Preprofessional study may be completed in the BSc in Agriculture program, other Faculty or program, or other postsecondary institution. Required: A minimum of ★24 (★ = units of course weight) transferable to the program. Recommended First Year Courses: BIOL or CHEM (★3), ECON 101 and 102 (★6), ENGL (Two of 121, 122, 123, 124, 125 recommended) (★6), Free Electives (★6), MATH 113 or 114 (★3), PL SC 221 (★3), and STAT 151 (★3). Admission Selection: Competitive, based on ★24. For consideration, you need a minimum 2.3 Admission Grade Point Average. Alberta Grade 12 Courses: Biology 30, Chemistry 30, anf Mathematics 30-1.
