Natural Resources Management and Policy
|Description:||Dalhousie offers a four-year Bachelor of Science in Agriculture program. Students in the program who successfully complete the prescribed courses with a cumulative GPA at or above the minimum required (2.0),
and who are in good standing, will be granted the degree of Bachelor of Science in Agriculture, BSc (Agr). Graduates meet the formal educational requirements for Professional Agrologists in the provincial Institutes of Agrologists in Canada.
Our program offers you training in green science and technology. It’s founded on four bio-resource pillars of Technology, Energy, Water and Waste. While studying at our Agricultural Campus in Truro, N.S., you’ll gain the skills and experience to create immediate sustainable solutions and address our national and global resource management and food production needs. Not only do you learn about real world problems, you work to solve them. Your access to facilities and professors is exceptional. Experience with hands-on labs and experiments give you a highly-marketable science and agriculture background for your career or future studies.

Applicants are required to have English 12, Pre Calculus Math 12 or Calculus 12, and three other acceptable university-preparatory courses at the grade 12 level. It is recommended that applicants also take Biology 12, and where available at the high school level, courses in Agriculture or Food Science.
