|Field of Study:||Sustainability Studies
|Description:||In 2008, Dalhousie created Canada’s first College of Sustainability, bringing distinguished thinkers and problem-solvers together in a new way to examine and take action on today’s most urgent global issues. Because the College and its faculty understand that change cannot happen in isolation, Environment, Sustainability, and Society (ESS) lecturers and profs come from across the academic spectrum—business, the arts, science, engineering, health, and design. All of them share one unwavering goal: to develop sustainable solutions that will preserve our planet for future generations.
The BSc Double Major degree program allows students to combine a study of Environment, Sustainability and Society (ESS) with another subject (Allied Subject). The Allied Subject may be any Major subject from the Faculty of Science or the Faculty of Computer Science. It is recommended that students enrolled in a Double Major program consult with academic advisors in both subject areas. This degree may also be combined with Minor(s).
