|Description:||The BSc in Forest Business Management program, offered jointly by the Faculty of Agricultural, Life and Environmental Sciences and the Alberta School of Business, prepares you for a management career in the forestry industry. You’ll learn to apply classroom knowledge to real-world challenges in forest and land management, and you’ll also have the opportunity to attend a three-week field school, where you will learn first-hand about forestry operations. This degree will also prepare you to become a Registered Professional Forester.|

|Additional Admission Requirements:||
This program does not allow admission directly from high school. Preprofessional Study Time: 1 year. Preprofessional study may completed in the BSc in Forestry program, other Faculty or program, or other postsecondary institution. Required: A minimum of ★24 (★ = units of course weight) transferable to the program. Recommended U of A courses: CHEM 101 or 164 (★3), ECON 101 and 102 (★6), ENGL (★3), Free Electives (★3), MATH 113 or 114 (★3), REN R 110 and 120 (★6), STAT 151 (★3), PL SC 221 (★3). Admission Selection: Competitive. For consideration, you need a minimum 2.3 Admission Grade Point Average.
