Description: | Chemical engineering is concerned with industrial processes involving chemical and physical changes. Chemical engineers create what has never been by using their fundamental knowledge of the basic sciences, their engineering training, and an appreciation of economics. During their careers, chemical engineering graduates face the challenge of contemporary problems in pollution control, energy conversion, process sustainability, and food processing. The Department of Chemical Engineering can provide the knowledge to help solve those problems. | ||

To follow this option, students must complete the following courses in addition to those required for the BASc in Chemical Engineering: ADM1100 Introduction to Business Management, ADM2320 Marketing, ADM2340 Financial Accounting, ADM3313 Entrepreneurial Mind: New Venture Creation. Students who complete this option will be exempted from two complementary studies electives and two technical electives. |
