|Description:||Civil engineers design and oversee the construction of roads, bridges, canals, and other structures. A civil engineering student at the University of Ottawa will take advantage of world class teaching laboratories, multimedia classrooms and outstanding computer facilities. With acquired expertise in computer applications, field testing and project management, the student will be well equipped to look for the best ways of using natural resources to benefit people. To follow this option, students must complete the following courses in addition to those required for the BASc in Civil Engineering: ADM1100 Introduction to Business Management, ADM2320 Marketing, ADM2340 Financial Accounting, ADM3313 Entrepreneurial Mind: New Venture Creation, CVG4173 Construction Management.|
