UNB was the first university to introduce engineering in Canada. Since 1894, we’ve been perfecting our program and Electrical Engineering has grown and benefited from this commitment. The ECE Department offers excellent teaching resources and state-of-the-art lab equipment. Also, faculty researchers are leading national and international research in: renewable energy (wind and solar), biomedical engineering, fibre optics, and communications.
