Description: | A Chemical Engineer often works in industries that produce advanced materials, energy, fuels or pharmaceuticals to solve problems and work toward a safe, efficient and environmentally-friendly future. Our Faculty of Engineering offers a unique four-year Bachelor of Engineering degree in Chemical Engineering, accredited by the Canadian Engineering Accreditation Board (CEAB), with an optional co-operative education component. The design of our program courses also grants you a Chemical Engineering Technology Diploma at the end of second year which will allow you to enter into the workforce as a Chemical Engineering Technologist if you don’t wish to pursue the final two years of the degree program. | |

Applicants whose first language is not English will need to satisfy Lakehead University’s English language proficiency requirements. Applicants can complete one of the following recognized language tests with the required minimum scores: TOEFL PBT-550, CBT-213, or iBT-80; IELTS-6.5; MELAB-85; CAEL-60. |
