Applicants are required to have a minimum GPA of 2.7 on the most recent 24 credits. Some students may be evaluated on more than 24 credits based on credit load in their most recent term. Spring and Summer terms are not eligible. Depending on the applicant pool in any given year we may consider any applicant who presents a GPA of 2.5 or higher. In addition, all applicants, regardless of declared major, will present a minimum of 650 hours of paid work experience within the past 3 years. This work does not need to be business related and may certainly include paid experience from such fields as retail, hospitality and labour. It is highly recommended that students demonstrate their ability to work full time hours during the co-op placement. All applicants are strongly encouraged to participate in volunteer or extra-curricular activities in order to improve their competitiveness for admission into the co-op stream and in securing a co-op position. Preference will be given to experience obtained in the past three years.
