Description: Our innovative approach to business education and training begins in the classroom, where you learn the fundamentals. However, after completing the third year of the program, you can choose to enhance your education by doing an internship.

An internship gives you the unique opportunity to develop hands-on experience with an employer during a 12 or 16 month work term.

  •  Grade12 English (ENG4U) 
  • 2 of  Grade12 Advanced Functions  or  Grade12 Data Management  or  Grade12 Calculus and Vectors 

Applicants are required to have at least six Grade 12 U/M level courses, including: ENG4U, and two of: MHF4U, MCV4U, MDM4U. Applicants without MCV4U will be required to complete an equivalent course in Level I, in addition to the required Calculus course.

Test Scores:

  • International English Language Testing System (academic or immigration) [min. 6.5] or Michigan English Language Assessment Battery [min. 85] or Cambridge English for Speakers of Other Languages: Certificate in Advanced English [min. 176] or Canadian Academic English Language Assessment [min. 70] or Test of English as a Foreign Language (Internet Based) [min. 86]

Students who have been asked to meet McMaster’s English Language Proficiency requirement must demonstrate English language proficiency by achieving the minimum requirements as specified by McMaster: IELTS: 6.5, CAE: 176, PTE: 60, CAEL: 70, MELAB: 85, TOEFL (iBT): 86

    To participate in the internship program, you must: have successfully completed the Career Development Workshops (3IN0); and be eligible to work in Canada.
