|Description:||This degree will prepare you for a career in the increasingly business-oriented, global, and growing fashion industry. You’ll gain an understanding of the theoretical, practical, and ethical processes involved in textile and clothing design, production, distribution, and consumption. With a strong background in marketing, buying, selling, strategic planning, and management processes, you’ll be prepared to enter any facet of the fashion industry.
This unique, multi-disciplinary program is a joint initiative of the Faculty of ALES and the Alberta School of Business. Students are encouraged to participate in the ALES Internship Program or the School of Business Co-op Program.

This program does not allow admission directly from high school. Required: A minimum of ★24 (★ = units of course weight) transferable to the program. Recommended First Year Courses: ECON 101 and 102 (★6), ENGL (Two of 102, 103, or 125 recommended) (★6), MATH 113 or 114 (★3), HECOL 170, 201, and 241 (★9), STAT 151 (★3), Free Elective (★3). Admission Selection: Competitive, based on ★24. For consideration, you need a minimum 2.3 Admission Grade Point Average.
