The Marketing program at the Alberta School of Business is built on the strength of our faculty’s world-class research in the areas of retailing, market research, and consumer behavior. The program combines research-based principles with innovative teaching methods: in addition to lectures and discussions, you’ll participate in managerial cases, group projects, and market simulations. You’ll also develop practical skills in areas such as consumer and market analysis, managerial decision-making, and implementing marketing programs, preparing you to engage in sophisticated marketing practice.

|Additional Admission Requirements:||
There is no direct entry from high school into the Bachelor of Commerce program (BCom). Students must first complete a year of university in another Faculty or postsecondary institution and take courses in English, Economics, Mathematics and Statistics. Admission to the BCom is competitive based on performance in the required courses and a student’s overall academic record. Preprofessional Study Time: 1 year. ★24 required, transferable to the University. (★ = units of course weight): Junior Level English (★6), which includes any 100-level English (★3) and a maximum of (★3) in WRS, ECON 101 (★3), ECON 102 (★3), MATH 113 or 114 (★3), STAT 151 (★3). Please consult the Faculty about any other courses appropriate to your major.
