|Description:||Students who graduate from the Kinesiology Stream are eligible to join the British Columbia Association of Kinesiologists (BCAK) and are prepared to complete certification as fitness leaders in Weight Training and Personal Trainers with British Columbia Recreation and Parks.
In addition students are prepared to write certification exams with the National Strength and Conditioning Association as a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and/or Certified Personal Trainer (CPT). Within the Kinesiology Stream of the School of Human Kinetics, there is an option for students to specialize in Strength & Conditioning. This specialization is recognized by the National Strength and Conditioning Association as an “approved educational program’- one of only three in Canada.

English 12 plus three additional Grade 12 academic subjects at a minimum overall average of 67%. A minimum grade of 60% or better is expected on the provincial examination portion of English 12.
