|Description:||The focus of the Department of Kinesiology and Physical Education (KPE) is the study of human movement, sport and physical activity through the multiple and integrative perspectives of psychology, motor control, sociology, biomechanics, history, physiology, health and philosophy.
This program is designed to expose you to learning inside and outside the classroom. During your studies you are required to complete two community-based leadership experience placements. Some courses will also require you to engage in practical, hands-on learning experiences such as fitness testing or injury assessment.

Applicants are required to have an admission range of mid-80s, English at 60%, Biology at 70%, and one of 3M Functions, 3U Functions and Relations, or any 4U Mathematics at 60%. 4U Exercise Science is recommended. If students would like to pursue science electives at Laurier, we recommend Chemistry and/or Physics. Biology and English are calculated in admission average.
