|Description:||Medical Physics is a field that applies the concepts and technology of physics to the study, diagnosis and treatment of disease. Common examples are the development of radiation treatment techniques for cancer and the development of imaging techniques, such as magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and ultrasound. Western and London offer a unique range of multidisciplinary opportunities, with research in medical physics conducted by many scientists in different programs, laboratories, and institutions across the City of London.
