Description: | For the new Biology and Medical Sciences modules, the recommended first year program is the Biological and Medical Sciences First Entry Program, which is designed for those intending to pursue more advanced study in Biology or the Medical Sciences.
There are two, first-year Biology courses available: Biology 022, designed for those students who have taken senior Biology in high school and achieved a minimum mark of 80% and Biology 023, geared towards those students who have either not taken senior Biology or not received 80%. Both of these courses provide a broad introduction to the discipline of Biology, reflecting the hierarchical organization of biological systems, from sub-cellular components to organisms to communities and ecosystems. |
