Description: | Explore the full breadth of the nursing profession, from community nursing to emergency care, with our nationally recognized Bachelor of Nursing program. Our campus is adjacent to New Brunswick’s largest health care facility, the Saint John Regional Hospital – the province’s main trauma and heart care centre and medical teaching facility. We are also co-located with Dalhousie Medicine New Brunswick, and NBCC (New Brunswick Community College) Allied Health – giving us unique opportunities for interdisciplinary research and education that will enhance your studies.
You will begin with introductory classes in the physical and social sciences along with courses geared toward career development. In your second year you will focus on health specialties such as mental health, young families and the relationship between bodies and disease. Third and fourth year courses will concentrate on acute care and community nursing. |
