|Description:||Recreation focuses on the use of recreation and leisure experiences to improve the quality of life of people with disabilities, illnesses and other limitations.
Our program is one of just a few in Canada that offers a four-year degree while preparing you to write an exam for the National Council for Therapeutic Recreation Certification (NCTRC) to become a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS). We provide you with the theoretical and practical skills to succeed in a highly challenging and rewarding career.

Applicants are required to have satisfactory completion of grade 12 or equivalent, with a minimum average of 70% in at least five academic university-preparatory courses including: English (minimum 70%), and four other acceptable university-preparatory courses.
