Description: | It is a joy to be among children, the most precious of God’s creation. As a program director, professor, and advisor, it is exciting to be part of a community of young men and women whose passion is the call to teach. If this is your dream, you are welcome here!
This program is designed to equip prospective teachers with the knowledge and skills required for today’s classrooms. Building on an excellent foundation of teaching theory and methodology, the program engages students in practical hands-on experiences while providing opportunities to work with children in nearby schools. In addition, students spend fourteen weeks observing and teaching in Christian schools. The components of the Christian School Education Program meet the requirements for teacher certification with the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI). |
