Description: Understand the development of children and be equipped with teaching, caring and administrative skills to effectively minister to children and their families. Learn to select and design curriculum, administer volunteers and work in a diverse environment. Emphasis is placed on practical ministry experience. Develop skills in evangelism, preaching, teaching, administration and pastoral care. Our undergraduate ministry programs prepare you for ministry in an ever-changing culture and to serve as a committed, competent ministry professional.
We concentrate on: Biblical Literacy; Theological Reflection; Personal, Spiritual and Professional formation.

Mentorship, field experience, insight into ministry and spiritual growth are integral to preparing for ministry. Practicum and Internship are built into all ministry programs at Ambrose. Practicum begins in your second year for 5 – 6 hours/week, while Internship happens before the last year of your program. Internship is typically full time for 3 – 12 months.

  •  Grade12 English 

Applicants must have five grade 12 level courses including English, with 60% on the five courses.

Test Scores:

  • Test of English as a Foreign Language (Paper Based) [min. 560] or International English Language Testing System (academic or immigration) [min. 7.0] or Test of English as a Foreign Language (Internet Based) [min. 83]

All students whose primary language is not English must demonstrate their English proficiency through one of the following: – TOEFL – 560 on paper based version; 83 on internet based – IELTS – Minimum score of 7.0

In addition to the above academic qualifications, students must submit two references and a personal testimony.
