Description: The Church Planting Major program is a practical four-year program designed to prepare students from a variety of denominational backgrounds, to effectively lead culturally relevant church planting projects. Graduates will have been exposed to proven church planting and church health/growth principles, as well as to church planting methodologies.

In this program, you will experience hands-on practical ministry preparation, mentoring by an effective church planting pastor, site visits to dynamic/current church plants, and an intellectually challenging academic curriculum.

Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent, and achieve satisfactory grades in the following Academic or College preparatory level courses in grades 10, 11, or 12: Two English credits, two Math or Science credits, and two Social Studies credits (e.g. history, sociology, and geography, civics, psychology).

    The prospective student is assessed according to academic background, moral behaviour and character, personal Christian testimony, and ministry graces. In the consideration process, the applicant’s complete prior academic record, recommendations, plans for the future, and personal information are reviewed. If applicants meet the required standards in these areas, they are admitted to the University.
