|Description:||This program is designed for students presently attending university or planning to attend university. Such students may transfer up to 64 credit hours to the B.R.E., General Studies program. In addition to, and complementing, the general objectives for B.R.E., a student will fulfil the following objectives: possess a thorough biblical and theological understanding of the Christian faith; demonstrate the ability to integrate a Christ-centered worldview with their chosen profession; demonstrate growth in spiritual disciplines as a necessary foundation to live a Christ-like life
The B.R.E., General Studies is designed for the student who wishes to prepare for non-vocational ministry. It allows a student to complete a Bible College degree by spending two years at Alberta Bible College and transferring in up to two years (64 hours) of credit from another chosen institution. It allows a student to complete a Bible College degree by spending two years at Alberta Bible College and transferring in up to two years (64 hours) of credit from another chosen institution. In order to complete all Alberta Bible College courses in two years, a student will need to declare this choice of program at the beginning of the third semester.

Applicants should be men and women who are intent on learning more of God, His Son, and the Christian Scriptures, have made a profession of faith in Christ and desire to learn about service to Christ and people and possess a grade 12 diploma or its recognized equivalent. For further information, contact the Registrar. If English is not your first language, a 60% in Alberta English 30 is required.
Applicants must submit: a completed application form along with a $50 non-refundable application fee. An official copy of: high school transcripts and, if applicable, transcripts from each college or university previously attended. A written personal statement, a clear photo of yourself, two references, a signed copy of the Statement of Faith and the Community Life Covenant and a completed Housing Form for Regular Program students.
