Description: Offers language and literature courses at all levels and culture courses on Italian food culture, music, the Italian immigrant experience and critical theory. Students may take part in Le Maschere Laurenziane, the Italian Studies student theatre company. Incontri, the Italian students’ club, organizes many socio-cultural activities including an annual opera trip to Toronto. Opportunity to study abroad at the University of Udine (in Friuli, Italy) for one year. Upper-year students can participate in the peer-tutoring program, work as research or teaching assistants and participate in a co-op program when registered in specific courses.

Applicants to our Bachelor of Arts programs require the successful completion of at least six grade 12 4U/M courses with a minimum overall average of 70% and must qualify to obtain their OSSD.
