|Description:||The McMaster Materials Engineering Programmes are designed to permit studies over a broad base of fundamental topics, with the opportunity to specialize in specific materials systems in the upper years of the programme.
The Materials Engineering programmes are accredited with the Canadian Engineering Accreditation Board, permitting subsequent admission to “P.Eng.” status following graduation and the completion of other requirements of the profession.

Applicants are required to have at least six Grade 12 U/M level courses, including: ENG4U, MCV4U, SCH4U, and SPH4U. Note: Students are expected to have completed Advanced Functions (MHF4U).
Students who have been asked to meet McMaster’s English Language Proficiency requirement must demonstrate English language proficiency by achieving the minimum requirements as specified by McMaster: IELTS: 6.5, CAE: 176, PTE: 60, CAEL: 70, MELAB: 85, TOEFL (iBT): 86
