Description The Department of French Studies at Queen’s University boasts a tradition of producing excellent scholars. It has all the resources of a major research-intensive university while also offering individualized attention to students. All departmental activities (intellectual, administrative and social) take place in French. Test Scores:

  • Test of English as a Foreign Language (Internet Based) [min. 88] or Test of English as a Foreign Language (Paper Based) [min. 550]

For international students, if required, a TOEFL total score of at least 550 (paper based) or TOEFL iBT minimum scores of: writing (24/30); speaking (22/30); reading (22/30); listening (20/30), for a total of 88/120. Applicants must have he minimum score in each test as well as the minimum overall score.

Additional Admission Requirements:

    Applicants are required to have a Bachelor of Arts (honours) in French Studies or equivalent, with second class standing.
