Students already admitted to the B.Hum. may register for a Combined Honours degree in Humanities and any other discipline offered within the B.A. Honours degree as a Combined Honours. The Bachelor of the Humanities (Honours) with another discipline has six electives, and is for those who wish to receive a balanced training in the humanities with a specialization. These students take a Minor or Combined Honours program. Students can now also add a Study Year Abroad option to their Humanities (Honours) program, which will allow them to earn a certain number of credits abroad.

|Additional Admission Requirements:||
Admission to the program is based on demonstrated scholarly achievement and potential. Students with an admission average of 80% or more may choose to submit a portfolio along with their application, but are not required to do so. The portfolio allows the admissions committee to make a more accurate judgment in cases where a student’s admissions average is not a good measure of his or her academic ability. The portfolio is due to the College of Humanities directly by March 1st.
