|Description:||The ability to use logical thinking to model and analyze complex problems is key to many careers in today’s world. Training in mathematics is an excellent way to hone these skills and learn to apply them to problems in the humanities and social sciences, and in organizations and enterprises.
As a Mathematics student, you’ll study why modern production methods would not be possible without the theory of probability and statistics, first developed in analyzing astronomical and census data. This is just one example why mathematics has been, and will continue to be, of vital importance to the world we live in.
