The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry excel in analytical, inorganic, organic, physical and theoretical chemistry. A program in Biochemistry, which explores the chemistry of biological processes, is also offered and draws upon faculty expertise in molecular biology, genetics, pharmacology and clinical biochemistry.
