Description: If you are drawn to the life sciences and have varied interests, you will find the Biological Sciences major (or minor) an excellent choice. Whether your interest lies in animal, plant, or human life, this degree is designed to provide a broad view of the life sciences and allows for customization and flexibility with courses and program direction. The Biological Sciences program is only available in the BSc General degree or the BSc/BEd Combined degree.

The Bachelor of Science General degree offers a wide variety of majors and minors, allowing you to create a diversified degree based on your interests. Majors must be in Science, but minors can also be from courses offered by Arts; Business; or Agriculture, Life and Environmental Sciences. You can also take a double major in Science.

Applicants must have: one of the following courses: Anglais EAE4U, English EAL4U, English ENG4U, or Studies in Literature ETS4U; one of the following subjects: Fine Arts, Humanities, Languages other than English, or Math/Sciences; one of the following courses: Advanced Functions MHF4U; and two of the following courses: Physics SPH4U, Computer Studies ICS4U, Calculus and Vectors MCV4U, Chemistry SCH4U, or Biology SBI4U.
