|Description:||This multidisciplinary B.Sc. major includes a double concentration in biotechnology and chemistry with calculus mathematics/statistics and physics as ancillaries. The program provides a solid science background and is intended for students interested in a scientific career in biotechnology. For students interested in graduate school, completion of a major in either biotechnology or chemistry is recommended.|

English 12 and Precalculus 11 or 12 plus two additional Grade 12 academic subjects at a minimum overall average of 67%. A minimum grade of 60% or better is expected on the provincial examination portion of English 12. If you are considering majoring in any of the programs in the Faculty of Natural and Applied Sciences, we strongly encourage you to take Grade 12 level Biology, Chemistry, Math (Pre-Calculus 12 for BC students), and Physics (or equivalents) in order to be fully prepared for university studies in the sciences.
