|Description:||The chemical Biology undergraduate program emphasizes research, starting with Inquiry, and continuing through to the senior thesis in 4th year. Because of the small Chemical Biology cohort, you will be able to make important connections with faculty members, have the opportunity to work with your classmates in the inquiry and lab courses, and develop meaningful and lasting relationship with your peers. The laboratories have been specifically designed to explore interactions between small, organic molecules and large biochemical macromolecules through a series of integrated experiments.|

Applicants are required to have completion of High School Diploma plus: 5 courses numbered 30 or 31 (Alberta students please ask your school to send us a list of your courses for the entire year) including: English (English Language Arts 30-1), Pre-Calculus Math (Math 30-1), Calculus (Math 31, AP Calculus), Chemistry (Chemistry 30), and Physics (Physics 30). Note: it is recommended that all first semester grades and a list of all courses for the entire year be submitted no later than February 15th.
Students who have been asked to meet McMaster’s English Language Proficiency requirement must demonstrate English language proficiency by achieving the minimum requirements as specified by McMaster: IELTS: 6.5, CAE: 176, PTE: 60, CAEL: 70, MELAB: 85, TOEFL (iBT): 86
