|Description:||Physics is the study of the fundamental properties of energy and matter. It attempts to describe and explain the great diversity of nature with the fewest and simplest hypotheses. To do well in physics, you’ll need more than math skills—you’ll also need imagination. Pursuing a degree in physics and atmospheric science will give you insights into our complex and ever-changing world. Many of the modern technologies we all take for granted are rooted in physics. In Dal Physics courses, you’ll discover phenomena you can use to develop the technologies and tools of tomorrow. And in Atmospheric Science courses, you’ll learn more about the environmental issues affecting our climate.
This is an integrated Physics/Meteorology program.
