Description: The Applied Social Sciences is a broad area of study that draws on the rich and intertwined histories and contributions of both sociology and social work. A broad approach to the social sciences allows you to “zoom out” and reveal the patterns and connections in human society, social relationships and the complex problems that can occur. This program will take your interest to help and work with people and prepare you to approach real life situations. Test Scores:

  • Test of English as a Foreign Language (Paper Based) [min. 600] or Canadian Academic English Language Assessment [min. 70] or International English Language Testing System (academic or immigration) [min. 7.0]

Applicants whose native language is not English must demonstrate proficiency in English through one of the following: TOEFL test score of 600, IELTS test score of 7.0, or CAEL test score of 70. Students who have studied for the last three years in a school where English is the primary spoken/written language may be exempt from language requirements.
