|Description:||Archaeology focuses upon the human past from our earliest pre-human ancestors to issues of First Nations heritage and its management in the modern world. Concerned particularly with human/environmental interactions, they offer numerous courses in scientific and theoretical approaches to its study.
Archaeology at SFU also integrates biological anthropology with concentration on primatology, human skeletal morphology and forensic science. Students should consult with the department’s undergraduate advisor when formally declaring an archaeology major.
