The future promises to be even more exciting and challenging, and an understanding of the economic issues involved is important for all members of our society. These important issues are examined in courses and faculty research programs in the Department of Economics at the University of Waterloo.
The Department of Economics is devoted to providing a rewarding intellectual experience plus the soundest possible grounding for essential skills for employment in the private and public sectors and the pursuit of graduate studies.
