From the specialization in Quebec Studies to the single-major Honours program, Trent provides a complete selection of French Studies degrees at the undergraduate level. Our program offers opportunities for all levels of learners; whether you are at a beginner level, or coming from Core French or Immersion, you will be placed in the class that is right for you. As you progress, you will explore great works of literature in their original language, and learn about the arts and cultures of the Francophonie. Applicants are required to have: an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD), a minimum of six Grade 12 4U or 4M courses, including program specific prerequisites, a minimum 70% overall final average, and ENG 4U with a minimum of 60%.
