|Description:||TWU is one of only two Christian universities in North America to offer a major in geography. The Department of Geography, History, and Political and International Studies at TWU offers a major in geography for students to experience a dynamic discipline.
Students learn the study of people, places and earth processes from a special perspective, while gaining hands-on experience, and address local, national, and global concerns. The geography program broadens student’s horizons by offering courses such as resource management, air and water pollution, low income housing, and population growth and climate change. Overall, the major covers social and economic issues, preparing students to make an impact in today’s world.

English 12 and Precalculus 11 or 12 plus two additional Grade 12 academic subjects at a minimum overall average of 67%. A minimum grade of 60% or better is expected on the provincial examination portion of English 12.
