|Description:||The discipline of political science is divided into several distinct but overlapping fields of interest. For this purpose, political science courses above the 100-level are numbered according to the field within which they fall. The key to this scheme is the second digit of the course number as follows: methodology; normative theory; public administration, public law and public policy; local and regional politics; comparative politics (more than one country); comparative politics (specific countries); the political process; international politics; and special subjects.
The new “experiential” Honours stream, allows students to earn credit toward their Honours designation through a research assistantship, study abroad program, or volunteer experience or civic engagement work.
