From the local to the global, decisions made by politicians, government officials, corporations and community leaders affect all aspects of our lives – from the way that we respond to the challenge of environmental degradation in the oil sands and the wait times in our health-care system, to whether we send our troops into combat or on peacekeeping missions.
A Political Science degree at Laurier gives you the training and tools you need in areas such as political communication, policy and legal analysis, public opinion design and implementation, as well as election analysis. In the process, you’ll gain the experience and skills to understand the political events and debates around you, preparing you for a life of engaged citizenship.
