|Description:||Psychology concerns itself with all aspects of human behaviour and mental processes, with the goal of understanding why people think, feel ad behave in the ways that they do. In our Psychology program, you will learn about the roles that genetics, personality, social factors, external environments, cultural differences and societal context have in influencing these behaviours and processes.
The Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Psychology program at our Waterloo campus is structured to ensure that students are exposed to the breadth of content that exists within the discipline, while still permitting sufficient flexibility for students to pursue their own particular interests. You will come away with a solid understanding of the principles of human behaviour and be able to apply these principles in a responsible, engaged way.
