|Description:||Psychology is an intrinsically interesting field of study encompassing all aspects of human and animal behaviour, with many links to associated disciplines such as biology, sociology, philosophy, and computer science. Aside from offering insight into the ways people think and behave, the Psychology program provides an excellent background of experience that can open a wide variety of career opportunities. It will also provide you with critical thinking and analytical skills.
The 120 credit hour Major is suited to students who want to focus on Psychology, but wish to have a program that is somewhat less constrained than the Honours program. Psychology Majors complete a minimum of 42 credit hours in Psychology courses above the 1000 level. Research and other experiential learning opportunities are available through laboratories and research project classes.
