|Description:||Music courses offered through the Faculty of Arts and Science are open to any student of the university and offer stimulating explorations of the world of music. The specialist program provides excellent preparation for graduate studies in musicology or ethnomusicology, or for a variety of professional activities in music-related fields. These programs lead to the degree of Bachelor of Arts. For programs leading to the degree of Bachelor of Music, consult the calendar of the Faculty of Music.
UofT Music offers a wide range of programs of study at the undergraduate level: Composition, Comprehensive, History and Theory, Music Education, and Performance – Classical or Jazz.

Applicants are required to have an Ontario Secondary School Diploma: Grade 12 English plus five additional U/M courses; a maximum of two Grade 12 Music credits may be counted in the admission average.
|Additional Admission Requirements:||
All applicants must provide proof of completion of RCM Level 8 Theory with a minimum grade of 60%. RCM Level 9 Harmony is also strongly recommended. All applicants must complete an audition.
