|Description:||This fine arts program provides students with the opportunity to set their imaginations free through the exciting world of media. As a contemporary art practice, a mode of communication and a gateway to future innovation, new media profoundly affects the way we work, play, study and interact. Students in the RTA School of Media’s New Media program learn to navigate a rapidly changing media ecosystem by creatively using and integrating media, art and technology. The program offers a solid grounding in art and critical media theory while providing the space and freedom to become leading media artists. Students will develop the skills necessary to become proficient and critical creators of digital art; including tangible interfaces, robotic and object-driven experiences, mobile media, interactive storytelling and virtual worlds.|
