Description The program offers studies leading to the M.Sc. and Ph.D., as well as Graduate Diplomas in Advanced Neonatal Nursing and Primary Health Care Nurse Practitioner. Students in the graduate program have access to the educational, research and clinical resources of the Faculty of Health sciences and the services of the Hamilton-Wentworth health care community.

Test Scores:

  • Test of English as a Foreign Language (Internet Based) [min. 92] or Test of English as a Foreign Language (Computer Based) [min. 237] or Test of English as a Foreign Language (Paper Based) [min. 580] or International English Language Testing System (academic or immigration) [min. 7.0] or Michigan English Language Assessment Battery [min. 90]

Applicants are required to submit evidence of their proficiency in the English language as part of their application. The most common evidence is a score on one of the following exams: TOEFL: minimum score of 92 (internet based), 237 (computer based) or 580 (paper based); IELTS (Academic): minimum overall score of 7.0; or MELAB: minimum score of 90. Applicants who have completed an academic ESL program through Canadian academic institutions may petition to have this considered in lieu of TOEFL.
